How awards are picked

Player of the Week: every box-score line in the window is scored on a sport-specific composite (e.g. basketball: pts + 1.2×reb + 1.5×ast + 2×stl + 2×blk − tov). The single best line wins; the next four show as Honorable Mention. Game of the Week: picks the biggest Maine-vs-Maine upset (by PIR gap) if the gap exceeds 10, otherwise the highest-scoring game in the window.
